FAQ
Do I have to register for the seminar in advance? No
Do I need to bring a bokken or jo? No
Is there a reduced participation fee? No
Can I pay the seminar fee with a credit card or by bank transfer? No, you have to pay in cash on site.
Can members of all federations participate in the seminar? Yes
Can practitioners of different aikido styles participate? Yes
Can children participate? The seminar is for adults. But there is no strict age limit.
Can I take photos during the seminar? You are not allowed to take photos while exercising on the mat. You can take pictures from outside the mat when you are not training, but do not disturb the training. Please note: You must be responsible for respecting copyright. Not every practitioner wants to be photographed.
Can I leave the mat during training, e.g. to drink water? Please wait for the breaks to drink water.
How do I behave on the mat? Christian Tissier walks around the mat and practices with each participant. When he shows something right next to you, sit down (seiza) and wait for your turn.
Does the organization have informations about hotels? No. Please check google or booking.com
Is it possible to stay overnight in the dojo? No
What is the best way to get to the dojo? Please ask google maps. The dojo is signposted at the „Sportschule“.
What happens if I get injured during the seminar? Participation in the seminar takes place at your own risk. Everyone is responsible for themselves mental and physical well-being.
